1. Zimbabwe (344/4) VS Gambia

On October 23, 2024, during the T20 World Cup Africa Sub-Regional Qualifier in Nairobi, Zimbabwe delivered a record-breaking performance against The Gambia. They set a new world record for the highest total in a T20 International match by scoring 344 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Captain Sikandar Raza led the charge with an unbeaten 133 runs off just 43 balls, hitting 15 sixes and 7 fours. His century, reached in 33 balls, is the second-fastest in T20I history. Contributions also came from Tadiwanashe Marumani (62 off 19 balls), Clive Madande (53 not out off 17 balls), and Brian Bennett (50 off 26 balls).

Zimbabwe’s innings featured a total of 27 sixes, setting a new record for the most sixes in a T20I innings. They also achieved the largest victory margin in T20I history, winning by 290 runs after bowling The Gambia out for 54 in 14.4 overs.

This dominant performance secured Zimbabwe’s advancement to the final round of Africa qualifying for the 2026 T20 World Cup.


2. Nepal (314/3) VS Mongolia

On September 27, 2023, during the Asian Games Men’s Cricket Competition in Hangzhou, Nepal set a T20 International record by scoring 314 runs for the loss of 3 wickets against Mongolia.

Kushal Malla led the innings with an unbeaten 137 runs off 50 balls, hitting 8 fours and 12 sixes. He achieved his century in just 34 balls, setting a new record for the fastest T20I century.
